Take a look at your new profile page and the redesigned Explore page to see the first step we've taken towards making it easier for you to use nextstop to discover interesting things to do and places to go.
On the Explore page, you can click on any of the cities listed in our Top Locations (or just search for one) to see the best guides for things to do in that city; in most cases, you'll even see a featured guide for the city. We also changed how we display guides on these pages in hopes that you'll be more likely to find something you're interested in more quickly. If you're searching for something specific in a city or country and not a guide, just click on one of the categories on the right side of the page to see just those recommendations. From there, you can further refine your search by neighborhood or keyword.
We also redesigned your profile page to make it easier to learn about your fellow nextstoppers. At the top of the page, your photo and reputation are now much more visible. There are also two new fields: a "Member since" field that shows you how long someone has been on the site and a "Next stop" field that lets you tell people where you're headed next. We hope these changes will allow you to find people whose recommendations you're interested in and want to follow more easily.
The lower half of the profile page now clearly lists your guides and recommendations; you can even filter your recommendations to see the ones "Not on a Guide" in case you want to organize them into a new guide. The Activity tab shows your recent actions on the site, keeping track of your comments, newly created guides and recommendations, as well as which guides you've liked.
You can read more details on these changes in this forum discussion. As always, thanks so much for all the feedback you've given us over the past few months; your thoughts greatly influenced these changes. Of course, we'd love to hear what you think about the new look--let us know what you like and don't like about it, or if there's anything that feels broken to you.
